About Kaycee Roberts Law, PLLC
Experience
A native of East Tennessee, Kaycee earned her bachelor's degree from East Tennessee State University in 2009. After graduating from Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in Memphis, Tennessee in 2013, Kaycee began her career with the Law Office of Shelby County Public Defender. During her four (4) years as an Assistant Public Defender in Memphis, Kaycee represented thousands of clients facing criminal charges ranging from First Degree Murder to misdemeanor driving offenses. Kaycee also specialized in defending clients facing allegations of domestic violence.
Kaycee moved to Middle Tennessee in 2017 where she continued to serve clients as an Assistant Public Defender in Davidson and Rutherford County before returning to East Tennessee in 2019 as an Assistant Federal Defender for the Eastern District of Tennessee. From Bristol to Memphis, Kaycee helps clients through the criminal process by offering zealous representation and compassion.
Kaycee's practice is not limited to the courtroom, as she seeks to connect clients with services within the community. As an Assistant Federal Defender for the Eastern District of Tennessee, Kaycee helped countless clients struggling with addiction to secure release from jail to an inpatient treatment for alcohol and/or drugs.
